Ishaya's Ascension Meditation
In 1996, I left my home and career in Miami to study meditation with
the Ishayas at the Society for Ascension’s (SFA) campus near
Waynesville, NC. Ascension, unlike other forms of meditation,
requires no effort, and because it is made up of worded phrases, it
keeps the mind engaged while automatically expanding consciousness
and ridding the mind of negative internal programs.
Coming to Ascension when I did, studying with MSI (the founder of
SFA) during the last year he was alive, having him as my teacher,
being among the participants in the first class that was taught on
the Waynesville campus, and living there for 5 years was all
personally very significant to me. The teaching of Ascension has
deeply enriched my spiritual life, and has guided my path in magical
and powerful ways.
After graduating in 1997, I taught the Ascension full time for 5
years, recorded MSI’s Ascension! on tape and wrote My Beloved M,
my memoirs of the early days at SFA and teacher training 1996.
Research
has found that it is necessary for a person to dream, and getting a
good night's sleep is vital to performing at optimum levels. This is
also true with meditation. This often under-utilized tool for life
and living plays an important role in your physical, mental, and
spiritual well-being.
